I prepared this post off line then waited for a connection which we found somewhere close to our RV but is only available on and off. Hope it finishes uploading while the connection is still available.
Had a terrific day today. We were able to take care of things for our trailer and get things ready for Mothers Day. And the weather was fabulous! A brief shower early this morning and then sunny and warm the rest of the day, with temps in the 60's! It was great!
The first picture is of what we call our RV patio. It was part of my present to Melba for Mother’s Day. She really likes it. And our RV is really working great! It is just right for what we need and is very comfortable. Really nice!
The second is of the cards and flowers she received for Mother’s Day - mostly from family but also one from the young Sister missionaries here. If the pictures upload, that is.
Hope you all have a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Androids and Water Don't Mix!
Having a difficult time blogging, facebooking, etc. since I dumped our brand new Android phone in the creek a week or so ago. Everything on it works fine except it won't attach to the internet or make/receive phone calls. Details. Have to do what I can when I can find an internet connection somewhere.
This is already proving to be a very educational experience. There is much about Kirtland we did not know -- or at least did not tumble to. Kirtland played a much larger part in the beginnings of the Church than we understood. The organization of the Church (i.e. Wards, Staked, First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve, Priesthood Quorums, Bishops, etc.) were all begun here. The first Quorum of Twelve were called here and then sent on missions. Zions Camp marched from Kirtland and the Law of Consecretion was first attempted here. And many other things.
We will try to post again soon and include some pictures. Hopefully, we will get out own internet access back again soon and will have a much easier time of this.
